Domee Shi

Domee Shi began as a story intern at Pixar Animation Studios in 2011, and was soon hired as a story artist on the Academy Award®-winning feature film “Inside Out.” Since then, she has worked on the feature films “The Good Dinosaur,” “Incredibles 2” and the Academy Award®-winning “Toy Story 4.” In 2015 Shi wrote and directed the Pixar short film “Bao” which won the Academy Award® for Best Animated Short Film. In her role as a VP of Creative, Shi consults on films in both development and production. Shi most recently directed and co-wrote the Academy Award®-nominated feature film “Turning Red”. Shi graduated from the animation program at Sheridan College. Her creative influences include anime, Disney, and Asian cinema. He has won numerous awards for his teaching and scholarship, including the American Bar Association’s Silver Gavel Award, the Peck medal in jurisprudence, and the University’s Distinguished Teaching Award. Farhad’s role is to lead and execute on PwC’s global strategy across the PwC Network and to ensure that clients have a consistent, tech-enabled, quality experience. Farhad collaborates and consults with senior territory and alliance partners, global clients and other key stakeholders on a range of business and geopolitical matters. He is also responsible for prioritizing investments to drive innovation and growth at scale across the PwC network. Farhad is also actively involved in PwC’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. He serves on the Foundation Board for the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Born in Bangladesh, Farhad has lived on five continents and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia as well as executive diplomas from Columbia University and INSEAD.
