Ascend North Texas, in partnership with KPMG and PwC, is proud to present a movie screening of Minari, winner of the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Minari is a story of an Asian-American family that moved to rural Arkansas in pursuit of the American dream. This deeply rich, heart-wrenching, and authentic portrayal of the struggle to assimilate, while keeping our Asian identity and culture, is brilliantly presented in this film.
Ascend North Texas will be hosting two watch parties via Amazon, which will be followed by a short movie discussion and reflection after the screening. Complimentary movie codes will be available for the first 100 registrants. EVERYONE is welcome to join the conversation after each screening.
