Lunar New Year 2021 ushers in a new beginning with the Year of Ox! ASCEND invites you and your family to join a celebration with us on 17th of February 2021, 4 – 5:30 pm Eastern.
We have an exciting line of events planned:
• The Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA), led by its President Nancy Yao Maasbach, will live-stream a virtual tour of the museum, highlight Asian immigrants’ stories in the making of America, and explore what their pursuit of the "American Dream" says about the meaning of work and the measure of a person.
• Recap of 2020 – highlighting ASCEND community services fighting COVID and social prejudice, elevating the voices and statue of Asian American professionals.
• Networking opportunity in facilitated break-out room discussions, on Lunar New Year cultural customs and celebrations among different ethnic groups around the globe.
