#AscendTogether Women’s Leadership Forum: Women Having Seat at the Table is Not Enough
Presented by Ascend Foundation
Last year, Ascend, C200, Catalyst, and Women Business Collaborative (WBC) released the second annual report highlighting Women CEOs in America: Changing the Face of Business Leadership. While the numbers for women in leadership are moving in the right direction, 8.2% in the Fortune 500 up from 6.6% in 2019, the progress is still too slow and not reflective of the nation. Furthermore, Ascend Foundation’s Race, Gender & the Double Glass Ceiling: An Analysis of EEOC National Workforce Data found that executive representation for men is higher than that of women of their own race, confirming that there is a gender glass ceiling in each race. Asian women and Black women are the least likely of all cohorts to be executive. Join us for an action-oriented conversation on the status of women in leadership roles, barriers to advancement, why they exist, what can be done to address the leadership deficit for women in leadership positions, and the critical importance of male allyship in addressing the barriers.

ERG Showcase: The Asian Women’s Experience Group
Presented by Accenture’s APAERG
Workplace equality has come a long way with a focus on gender bias and ethnic diversity. While our communities fight to debunk the “model minority” myth, the intersectionality of ethnicity and gender is often overlooked. Learn how Accenture’s APAERG is proactively bridging the gap, driving awareness, and building a safe community through the Asian Women’s Experience Group.
