Thankful for our Ascend Family

This is my favorite time of year and I’m coming into this holiday season feeling reinvigorated after an in-person October retreat and gatherings with our internal team, where we reflected on the past few years and planned for 2023. What is clear to me, especially through the uncertainty we’ve endured, is that nothing takes the place of human connection. I was in New York last week and we celebrated our Ascend Charity Golf Outing volunteer team, many of whom have been supporting our fundraising efforts since the tournament’s founding five years ago.

A holiday highlight of mine on Thanksgiving Day is serving thousands of meals to low income seniors and immigrant families. Creating festive gatherings is a passion and this week is extra special because I get to spend days in my kitchen cooking for my daughter’s birthday and celebrating my dad who recently turned 90. I hope this week will be a chance for you and your loved ones to continue and create new traditions!
